Job Title: Senior Consultant

Job Overview:
Navitas Life Sciences is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead consultancy projects within the Life Sciences industry, focusing on Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, and other related domains. The role involves managing project workstreams, defining client solutions, maintaining client relationships, and contributing to business development efforts to drive growth. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in patient safety, clinical development processes, regulatory affairs, and have a proven track record in consulting and project management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership:

    • Lead workstreams or sub-projects to deliver client solutions and implement consultancy projects effectively.
    • Own project workstreams, ensuring alignment with project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Client Engagement & Communication:

    • Proactively engage with clients through face-to-face meetings, workshops, and regular communication to ensure successful project outcomes.
    • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on client projects, providing industry expertise and insights.
  • Consultancy & Business Development:

    • Support business development activities by identifying leads, developing proposals, and managing client relationships.
    • Contribute to new business development through RFPs, proposals, and routine account meetings.
  • Team Collaboration & Mentorship:

    • Coach and mentor junior team members in designing solutions, preparing materials, and leading client workshops.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to contribute to strategic themes and manage opportunities.
  • Knowledge Management:

    • Develop and deliver knowledge management tools, materials, and training resources for internal use and client benefit.
  • Reporting & Stakeholder Management:

    • Manage project statuses, risk reporting, and resource allocation to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years in the Life Sciences industry or consulting role.
    • At least 2 years in a consulting role or 3 years in a Life Sciences/Pharma industry role.
    • Preferred experience in areas like Patient Safety, Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, or Risk Management.
  • Skills:

    • Strong consulting skills, including methodologies/tools, project management, and business case development.
    • Proven experience in client managementstakeholder engagement, and commercial acumen.
    • Confidence in presenting, planning, and tracking projects, as well as managing resources and risks.
  • Education:

    • A strong degree (2:1) in a relevant subject (e.g., Science, Life Sciences).
    • PhD or MBA is preferable.
