Department Overview: Commercial & Corporate Affairs

The Commercial & Corporate Affairs department at Novo Nordisk is key to driving insights and strategic alignment for successful product launches. It focuses on market intelligence, forecasting, multichannel customer engagement, and global brand strategy. As a Senior Associate Marketing Editor, you will be responsible for managing and editing marketing content to ensure quality, compliance, and speed throughout the content lifecycle. Your role will involve collaboration with internal stakeholders and agencies to maintain brand guidelines and high-quality standards in all promotional materials. You will focus on scientific clarity, grammar, and consistency, ensuring that all marketing content aligns with Novo Nordisk’s strict legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Review & Management:

    • Review and edit promotional content to ensure it is grammatically correct, aligned with brand guidelines, and in compliance with the product label.
    • Manage content from development through to approval, ensuring all changes are made correctly, and comments are incorporated as per the decision rights.
    • Compare old and new versions of documents to verify updates and corrections are implemented correctly.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Work closely with internal teams and agencies to ensure all marketing content meets requirements prior to submitting for MLR review.
    • Ensure seamless collaboration with stakeholders across EU and US time zones.
  • Brand Advocacy & Compliance:

    • Advocate for brand guidelines, ensuring that all marketing materials meet the highest standards of quality and compliance before market release.
    • Identify any inconsistencies or ambiguous language and ensure that reference lists comply with applicable style guides.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    • A degree in Life Sciences or a related field, with top 10% academic performance, and relevant business experience.
  • Skills & Experience:

    • Experience with IT systems and data relations, particularly Veeva PromoMats.
    • Proficiency in medical publishing and knowledge of medical, legal, and regulatory requirements in life science marketing.
    • Strong analytical, judgment, and decision-making skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and quality.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels of the business.
    • Highly motivated, self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Other Skills:

    • Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
