About the Team – Antibody Team

The Antibody Team is dedicated to antibody engineering and development, with a strong emphasis on reagent quality and specificity. Key focus areas include:

  • Antibody design, purification, conjugation, and testing

  • Use of advanced molecular, protein, and cell biology tools

  • Development of sophisticated products and detailed supporting resources for research use


Role Summary

As Scientist II, you will play a key role in the development of innovative antibody products with high specificity and performance. You will lead experimental workflows, contribute scientific expertise in flow cytometry and molecular biology, and collaborate across cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute experiments related to antibody development using recombinant DNA technology

  • Lead workflows or projects in new antibody development programs

  • Apply expertise in single-cell sorting and flow cytometry, including immunophenotyping and rare population analysis

  • Conduct tissue processing and cell isolation (e.g., PBMCs, mouse splenocytes)

  • Provide domain expertise in cell sorting and immunology

  • Conduct molecular biology tasks such as vector construction, PCR, cloning, transformation, sequencing, etc.

  • Author and optimize standard operating procedures (SOPs)

  • Analyze data and present findings clearly in written and oral formats

  • Troubleshoot experimental challenges and suggest solutions

  • Contribute to scientific innovation and collaborate across teams with different scientific backgrounds


Education & Experience Requirements

Required:

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences with 5+ years of relevant experience
    OR

  • PhD in Life Sciences with 2+ years of experience

Preferred Fields: Immunology, Molecular Biology, Protein Biology


Technical Skills & Expertise

  • Strong expertise in flow cytometry, including multicolor panel design and data analysis (FlowJo, FCS Express)

  • Hands-on experience with single B cell sorting, phage display, or other monoclonal antibody generation methods

  • Strong molecular biology experience: cloning, PCR, digestion/ligation, plasmid prep, sequencing

  • Experience in antibody development workflows and immunoassays

  • Skilled in tissue processing and mammalian cell isolation techniques

  • Familiarity with protein engineering and recombinant antibody technologies

  • Ability to detect and resolve deviations from expected outcomes

  • Proficient with MS Office tools and statistical analysis software (e.g., GraphPad Prism)

  • Authorship of peer-reviewed publications is a plus

  • Postdoctoral experience is desirable
