Team Overview
The Antibody Team focuses on antibody engineering and development, with a deep emphasis on reagent quality and specificity. The team's core activities include antibody design, purification, conjugation, and testing for various immunoassay applications, using cutting-edge technologies to drive advanced product development.
Role & Responsibilities
As a Scientist I, Protein Biology, you will play an integral role in the antibody development team, contributing to performance and specificity using innovative molecular, protein, and cell biology techniques.
Perform meticulous experimental planning and execution to meet program goals.
Maintain detailed records of results in data sheets and laboratory notebooks.
Stay updated with current literature in the field of antibody development.
Compile and present data in written and oral formats.
Actively participate in team meetings, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to schedules.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Experience
Master’s degree with 0-3 years of experience or a Ph.D. in life sciences, with a focus on molecular biology, immunology, biotechnology, or biochemistry.
Nature of Experience
Experience in antibody development platforms, antibody design, engineering, and/or conjugation.
Proficiency in immunoassays such as Western blotting, Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry, Flow cytometry, or ELISA.
Experience with proteins, including structure-function or mutational analysis, and molecular biology techniques like PCR, cloning, and nucleic acid extraction.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiarity with statistical software such as Prism.
