About Team: Protein Biology
The Protein Biology team focuses on large-scale functional validation of antibodies, with an emphasis on reagent quality and specificity. Key functions include data mining and processing, Western blotting, high-resolution immunofluorescence imaging, immunohistochemistry, Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP), and gene silencing to support high-quality antibody product validation and research-focused product information development.

Role & Responsibilities:
Purpose:
To contribute to the antibody validation workflow by applying an understanding of target biology and validating antibodies for reproducibility using innovative methods. The candidate should demonstrate scientific proficiency in experimental planning and execution, goal-setting, handling scientific issues, and ensuring timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire and apply knowledge in protein biology for antibody validation and characterization.

  • Execute well-designed experiments that align with program objectives.

  • Maintain accurate records of results in data sheets and laboratory notebooks.

  • Stay updated with the latest scientific literature related to antibody validation.

  • Compile and present data in written and oral formats; actively participate in team discussions.

  • Exhibit attention to detail and comply with project timelines.

Candidate Requirements:
Education & Experience:

  • Master’s degree with 2–5 years of experience, or

  • PhD in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in experimental workflows in cell and molecular biology.

  • Experience with protein assays, protein-protein interaction techniques (e.g., co-immunoprecipitation), and immunoassay development.

  • Proven expertise in techniques such as Western blotting, Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry, Flow Cytometry, or ELISA.

  • Strong ability to communicate research findings and resolve scientific challenges through technical troubleshooting.
