About the Team – Antibody Team

The Antibody Team focuses on engineering and development of high-quality, specific antibodies. Key activities include:

  • Design, development, purification, and conjugation of antibodies

  • Testing antibodies across a variety of immunoassay applications

  • Creating product-specific data to promote research use

  • Employing innovative molecular, protein, and cell biology techniques


Role Summary

As Scientist I, you will be an integral member of the antibody development team. You will apply advanced molecular, protein, and cell biology techniques to design and evaluate antibody performance and specificity for research use.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute experiments meticulously to meet program goals

  • Record results accurately in laboratory notebooks and data sheets

  • Conduct regular literature reviews and remain updated on advances in antibody development

  • Compile, analyze, and present experimental data in written and oral formats

  • Actively participate in team meetings and collaborative discussions

  • Maintain attention to detail and adhere to project schedules


Education & Experience Requirements

Required:

  • Master’s degree in a life sciences field with 0–3 years of experience
    OR

  • Fresh PhD (submitted within the past year) in Life Sciences, Protein Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry


Technical Skills & Expertise

  • Hands-on experience in immunoassays: Western blotting, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, ELISA, flow cytometry

  • Expertise in protein design, purification, and structure-function analysis

  • Molecular biology experience: nucleic acid extraction, PCR, cloning

  • Familiarity with molecular biology software (e.g., SnapGene, CLC Workbench, Geneious)

  • Experience with single-cell molecular biology or next-generation sequencing (NGS) is a plus

  • Proficiency in protein purification techniques: affinity/ion exchange chromatography, size-exclusion chromatography (SEC), HPLC, SDS-PAGE

  • Protein affinity measurement experience is desirable

  • Cell culture experience: aseptic techniques, maintenance of cell lines, primary cells

  • Exposure to advanced cell culture techniques (e.g., stem cells, spheroid cultures) is a plus

  • Experience or knowledge of antibody development platforms is a bonus

  • Strong documentation skills: project reports, thesis, or publications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Familiarity with statistical analysis software (e.g., GraphPad Prism)
