About the Antibody Team

The Antibody Team focuses on the engineering and development of high-quality antibodies with strong specificity and performance. Core activities include antibody design, development, purification, conjugation, and validation across diverse immunoassay platforms using advanced molecular, protein, and cell biology technologies. The team supports advanced product development and generation of product-specific scientific data for research applications.


Role Overview

The Scientist I – Protein Biology will be an integral contributor to the antibody development program, supporting experimental design, execution, and data generation to enhance antibody performance and specificity. This role offers hands-on exposure to cutting-edge antibody engineering platforms within a collaborative research environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute experiments with precision to meet project and program milestones.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of experimental data in laboratory notebooks and electronic records.

  • Conduct literature reviews and stay current with advancements in antibody engineering and protein biology.

  • Compile, analyze, and present experimental data in written reports and oral presentations.

  • Actively participate in team meetings, data discussions, and project reviews.

  • Ensure strict adherence to timelines, protocols, and quality standards.

  • Support continuous process and product improvements through scientific rigor and innovation.


Required Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology, or a related discipline with 0–3 years of relevant industry or academic experience,
    OR

  • PhD (fresh or submitted within the last 12 months) in a relevant life sciences discipline with strong protein biology or antibody research exposure.


Required Technical Skills & Expertise

  • Familiarity or hands-on experience with display-based antibody development techniques.

  • Experience or knowledge of antibody or protein engineering, rational mutant design, and molecular biology methods.

  • Exposure to antibody conjugation techniques or development of conjugation chemistries.

  • Understanding of antibody development platforms is preferred.

  • Demonstrated project or research experience through publications, thesis work, or project reports.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong statistical knowledge with familiarity in tools such as GraphPad Prism or similar software.
