Sanofi, a global leader in innovative medicines and healthcare solutions, is seeking a Scientific Writer to join its Hyderabad-based Sanofi Business Operations (SBO) team. This team supports global Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, and R&D functions by centralizing processes and delivering high-quality medical and educational content.
As a Scientific Writer, you will develop and maintain therapeutic area expertise while creating medical and educational content, including slide decks, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and digital resources. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including medical teams, product managers, and healthcare professionals, to ensure content accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment with business objectives.
Develop specialized scientific and medical content for publications, medical education, and promotional materials.
Support end-to-end publication and content development processes, including documentation, review, and approval in PromoMats/iEnvision.
Maintain therapeutic area expertise to ensure content accuracy and scientific credibility.
Collaborate with internal teams to establish best practices and improve content delivery.
Engage with healthcare professionals, medical teams, and stakeholders to validate content and gather feedback.
Prepare complex publication materials, including manuscripts, posters, abstracts, and slide decks, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
Conduct publication-need analyses, identify opportunities for content development, and assist in implementing publication plans.
Work with regional vendors and cross-functional teams to deliver content according to defined processes.
Continuously improve course content and delivery based on end-user feedback and outcomes.
Education: Advanced degree (MS/PharmD/PhD/MD) in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, or related fields.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare content creation, scientific writing, or academic publications.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of therapeutic areas, publication submission processes, and project management principles.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, team collaboration, and independent working capability.
Languages: Superior command of written and spoken English.
Familiarity with publication management systems (PromoMats, iEnvision).
Exposure to medical communications, regulatory submissions, or digital content development.
Ability to synthesize scientific literature and produce evidence-based, accurate medical content.
Understanding of global pharmaceutical operations and medical affairs functions.
