Job Overview

Sanofi is seeking a Scientific Writer – HEVA to join its Global Hub in Hyderabad. This role focuses on the development and execution of Health Economics and Value Assessment (HEVA) communications to support evidence-based decision-making for healthcare stakeholders, payers, and reimbursement authorities globally.

The position requires hands-on experience in scientific writing, publication development, and collaboration with cross-functional medical and HEVA teams.


Key Responsibilities

HEVA Scientific Writing & Publications

  • Develop HEVA communication deliverables, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and slide decks, aligned with global HEVA and medical communication strategies

  • Support the execution of global HEVA communication plans across assigned products and business units

  • Assist in maintaining Core Value Decks with up-to-date synthesis of HEVA evidence

  • Ensure scientific accuracy and consistency with Core Value Dossier and US AMCP Dossier

Process, Quality & Compliance

  • Adhere to publication SOPs, Good Publication Practice (GPP), and internal compliance standards

  • Support end-to-end publication development using tools such as iEnvision (formerly Datavision/Matrix)

  • Contribute to publication planning and timely execution of assigned deliverables

  • Coordinate with approved vendors to support HEVA publication outputs

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Global and Local HEVA teams, RWE teams, and Scientific Communication teams

  • Liaise with Medical Affairs teams to develop customized HEVA deliverables

  • Interact with healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders on publication content

Knowledge Development

  • Develop and maintain therapeutic area expertise relevant to assigned portfolios

  • Support peer scientific writers through knowledge sharing and collaboration


Required Qualifications

Education

  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related scientific discipline

  • Medical degree (MBBS/MD) is an added advantage

Experience

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in scientific or medical content creation within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or academic environment

  • Exposure to HEVA, market access, or outcomes research content is preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong scientific and medical writing skills

  • Knowledge of Health Economics, Outcomes Research, or Epidemiology

  • Familiarity with Good Publication Practice (GPP)

  • Stakeholder and project management skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment

  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
