Job Title: Copy Editor

Job Summary:
At Indegene, a technology-led healthcare solutions provider, we are looking for a Copy Editor to join our dynamic team. As a Copy Editor, you will be responsible for reviewing and editing scientific content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency, while adhering to medical and regulatory guidelines. You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling editorial, proofreading, and data interpretation tasks, collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality content.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Review and Editing:

    • Review L-MACH content for grammar, punctuation, style, and clarity.
    • Ensure scientific accuracy and language consistency.
    • Critically evaluate the relevance and accuracy of scientific content.
  2. Data and Statistical Information Handling:

    • Interpret and edit data, charts, tables, ensuring that statistical information is accurately presented and described.
  3. Editorial Tools and Collaboration:

    • Demonstrate proficiency in using editorial, proofreading, and referencing tools.
    • Adapt to changes in guidelines, regulations, tools, and processes.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide constructive feedback.
  4. Quality Control and Compliance:

    • Serve as Veeva PromoMats "Owner" for modules.
    • QC populated templates and incorporate feedback as they move through the process.
    • Escalate proposed revisions to content that may impact accuracy or compliance.
  5. Stakeholder and Time Management:

    • Manage stakeholder expectations, handling multiple tasks and ensuring timely delivery of projects without compromising quality.
    • Drive the correct application of BRIX processes and manage content effectively through editing and review stages.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2-6 years in a relevant editorial or scientific editing role.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in routing platforms such as Adobe, Veeva PromoMats, and Wrike.
    • Strong editing and proofreading skills.
    • Ability to interpret data and charts accurately.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Time management and stakeholder management skills.
    • High attention to detail and adaptability to change.
    • Experience in training, mentoring, and managing editorial processes.
  • Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of medical SOPs, such as MCA procedures.
    • Proficiency in language and data integrity review.
    • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines related to healthcare content.
