Scientific Communications – Operations Lead | Novartis, Hyderabad (Hybrid)

Job Summary:

Novartis is seeking a detail-oriented Scientific Communications – Operations Lead in Hyderabad, India to support medical content teams with operational excellence. This hybrid role focuses on managing systems such as Datavision and Veeva Vault, supporting budget tracking, coordinating with external service providers, and assisting Scientific Writers during the MLR (Medical-Legal-Regulatory) review process. Ideal for candidates with pharma operations experience and a keen eye for detail.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project operations to support the TA Content Development team

  • Maintain project data and documentation in Datavision and other platforms

  • Support budgeting processes including forecasting, tracking, and vendor coordination

  • Oversee content repositories like Veeva Vault, ensuring compliance and document completeness

  • Coordinate contracts and procurement processes with external service providers

  • Provide project support to Scientific Writers during MLR reviews

  • Create and update submission packages for content approval workflows

  • Ensure timely execution of operational deliverables in alignment with business goals


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or related field

  • 3–4 years’ experience in pharmaceutical operations or related function

  • 1–2 years of experience in MLR review processes preferred

  • Knowledge of Datavision, Veeva Vault, and medical content approval workflows

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks in a matrix environment

  • Financial experience in forecasting and budget reconciliation is a plus
