Job Overview
Novo Nordisk is seeking a highly skilled Scientific Communications Lead to join the Global Medical Affairs team in Bengaluru. This strategic role focuses on delivering high-impact, evidence-based scientific communication materials that support global medical education, product strategy, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
The position offers direct collaboration with global medical leaders, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and cross-functional teams based in Denmark and across international markets.
Experience Required
Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Communications, Clinical Research, or related functions
Demonstrated clinical and/or research expertise in relevant therapeutic areas such as Endocrinology, Internal Medicine, or General Practice
Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and scientific content development
Educational Qualification
Ph.D. or PharmD (Mandatory)
Strong academic or research background with publications preferred
Key Responsibilities
Develop high-quality, accurate, and engaging medical communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Translate complex clinical and scientific data into impactful presentations and educational content.
Support global medical education plans to enhance KOL and HCP understanding of product clinical profiles.
Actively engage in scientific dialogue and relationship management with global KOLs.
Provide backend and onsite support for Global Medical Affairs initiatives, including symposia and congress activities.
Ensure cross-functional collaboration between Medical Affairs teams, project managers, and medical illustrators.
Drive consistency, strategic planning, and timely communication across global stakeholders.
Contribute to in-house content development and project management for external medical events.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong scientific writing and data interpretation skills
Advanced MS PowerPoint proficiency
Excellent written and verbal English communication
Ability to manage multiple global stakeholders
Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills
Research publications and scientific credibility preferred
