Job Overview

Novo Nordisk is seeking a highly skilled Scientific Communications Lead to join the Global Medical Affairs team in Bengaluru. This strategic role focuses on delivering high-impact, evidence-based scientific communication materials that support global medical education, product strategy, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.

The position offers direct collaboration with global medical leaders, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and cross-functional teams based in Denmark and across international markets.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Communications, Clinical Research, or related functions

  • Demonstrated clinical and/or research expertise in relevant therapeutic areas such as Endocrinology, Internal Medicine, or General Practice

  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and scientific content development

Educational Qualification

  • Ph.D. or PharmD (Mandatory)

  • Strong academic or research background with publications preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality, accurate, and engaging medical communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Translate complex clinical and scientific data into impactful presentations and educational content.

  • Support global medical education plans to enhance KOL and HCP understanding of product clinical profiles.

  • Actively engage in scientific dialogue and relationship management with global KOLs.

  • Provide backend and onsite support for Global Medical Affairs initiatives, including symposia and congress activities.

  • Ensure cross-functional collaboration between Medical Affairs teams, project managers, and medical illustrators.

  • Drive consistency, strategic planning, and timely communication across global stakeholders.

  • Contribute to in-house content development and project management for external medical events.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong scientific writing and data interpretation skills

  • Advanced MS PowerPoint proficiency

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication

  • Ability to manage multiple global stakeholders

  • Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills

  • Research publications and scientific credibility preferred
