Position Overview

Role: Entry-Level SAS Programmer
Location: Remote/Onsite
Job Type: Contract


Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Trial Programming:

    • Write SAS programs to create datasets, tables, figures, and listings for clinical trial reporting.
    • Use SAS language, procedures, and options, including Macro Language, BASE SAS, SAS/STAT, and SAS/GRAPH.
    • Program clinical trial processes from file creation to analysis and reporting.
  • Data Management:

    • Clean, manage, merge, and analyze datasets using SAS.
    • Ensure adherence to CDISC, SDTM, and ADaM standards.
    • Configure secure servers per HIPAA regulations.
  • Compliance:

    • Follow FDA Industry Guidelines, ICH Guidelines, and the regulatory approval process.
  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work collaboratively as part of a team.
    • Maintain technical documentation and communicate effectively through reports and presentations.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    • BS/MS in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or related fields (Pharmaceutical Science, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, etc.).
  • Experience:

    • 0-1 years of experience in clinical SAS programming.
    • SAS Base and Advanced Certifications (preferred).
  • Skills:

    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
    • Familiarity with CDISC, SDTM, ADaM standards.
    • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and within a team.
