Role Overview:

As a Sales Manager for Acute Kidney Care, you will play a key role in driving the adoption and growth of our Prismaflex and Prismax Acute products. Your focus will be on driving CRRT therapy adoption, increasing product installations, and managing key accounts within your assigned territory. You will also be responsible for the sales and promotion of consumables such as Prismasol, Regiocit, Biphozyl, and other related products. You’ll work closely with a wide range of healthcare professionals, including intensivists and nephrologists, to ensure Vantive’s solutions become the preferred choice in acute kidney care.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Account Planning: Develop monthly and quarterly sales plans and forecasts, focusing on both secondary and primary sales for your assigned territory/accounts.
  • Customer Engagement: Drive product adoption and sales by engaging intensivists, nephrologists, and other key healthcare professionals. Ensure deep understanding of CRRT and Oxiris (adsorptive therapy).
  • Distributor Network: Build and maintain a robust distributor network to ensure effective coverage and support in your territory.
  • Government and Corporate Accounts: Leverage exposure to government and corporate business to expand market presence.
  • Competition Analysis: Gather and analyze market data, competitor activities, and relevant therapies to inform strategy.

Execution and Market Development:

  • SFE Adherence: Ensure adherence to SFE processes including customer coverage, working days, product demonstrations, and prescription tracking.
  • Complaint Management: Track product/service-related complaints, coordinate responses with sales managers, and report to PV & Quality.
  • Product Availability: Ensure speedy and adequate product availability for accounts, managing stock levels and deliveries.
  • Business Development: Identify and implement business development initiatives within your accounts, including training and education programs for paramedical staff.

Product and Service Awareness:

  • Promote the sales of consumables, including Prismasol, Regiocit, Biphozyl, Prismaflex M150, and CA250.
  • Drive awareness and educate on the benefits of adsorptive therapy (Oxiris), and work on expanding its adoption in the market.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience:

    • Previous experience in medical device sales or healthcare sales, with a focus on acute therapies, nephrology, or intensive care.
    • Strong understanding of the kidney care landscape, CRRT therapy, and related consumables.
  • Skills and Expertise:

    • Proven track record in driving sales growth, managing distributor networks, and handling corporate and government accounts.
    • Ability to create and execute sales plans and forecasts effectively.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage key stakeholders.
  • Market Knowledge:

    • Deep understanding of the market and competitors in the kidney care and acute therapy space.
    • Familiarity with SFE (Sales Force Effectiveness) processes and ability to track and analyze sales data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field (e.g., Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business).
  • 3+ years of experience in sales management, particularly in the medical device, nephrology, or intensive care sectors.
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing large accounts and working in a highly competitive market.
