Key Responsibilities:
Goal Setting & Budget Management: Develop and communicate pharmacy goals for individual team members. Administer the pharmacy budget, analyze revenue/expenses, and provide financial reports.
Safety & Compliance: Oversee safety, radiation safety, and quality programs, ensuring compliance with state, federal regulations, and internal safety policies. Conduct pharmacy safety audits.
Radiopharmaceutical Dispensing: Compound and dispense radiopharmaceuticals, prepare doses for transit, and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.
Customer Relations & Vendor Management: Collaborate with the Business Unit Director to maintain customer relationships, negotiate vendor services, and monitor facility maintenance.
Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate team members, ensuring training and compliance with all safety standards. Ensure performance goals are met.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
Experience: At least 2 years of management experience in pharmacy operations, with experience leading teams in a medical or pharmacy setting.
Licensing: Must be an Authorized User of radioactive materials on the pharmacy’s license.
Additional Skills:
Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
Radiation Safety Officer experience (preferred).
Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a vehicle.
