🎯 Role Purpose
The RWE Insights role is part of the Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) team in Bengaluru. This role involves generating strategic insights from Real-World Evidence (RWE) and competitive intelligence to support:
Drug development
Health technology assessment and access decisions
Product differentiation
Clinical decision-making
The RWE Insights professional collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop scientifically accurate and actionable insights on the value of Lilly’s medicines for key products and indications.
🧠 Key Responsibilities
1. Insight Generation from RWE Literature (80%)
Conduct periodic competitive intelligence and literature reviews.
Develop scientifically robust RWE summaries, including narrative reports and visual presentations.
Translate study designs, results, and strategic implications into actionable insights and storytelling.
Store, update, and communicate findings using appropriate documentation systems.
Align outputs with cross-functional team needs.
2. Therapeutic Area Understanding (15%)
Understand key RWE evidence priorities for products and indications.
Provide timely updates to internal teams on the value of medicines in clinical practice.
Maintain and enhance knowledge of disease states, product information, and competitor data.
3. Customer Focus (5%)
Network to identify process or strategic improvements.
Share best practices and suggest opportunities for enhancement.
Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling or unexpected changes.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Requirements
Master’s degree or Ph.D. in life sciences, medical, or scientific field (Pharma/Biotech).
5–7 years of relevant experience in life sciences or health-related research.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
Expertise in epidemiology, clinical pharmacology, therapeutic areas (e.g., immunology, diabetes, oncology).
Knowledge and experience in healthcare data for RWE.
At least 2–3 years experience in medical/scientific writing.
Analytical, critical thinking, and cognitive abilities (verbal reasoning, attention to detail).
Strong project management and time management skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and environments.
High-level computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, tables/graphics, templates.
Additional Preferences
Experience in critical appraisal of observational study designs.
Publication experience in peer-reviewed journals.
Ability to work independently and across diverse teams, cultures, and time zones.
