Job Overview
Clarivate is seeking a Senior Healthcare Research & Data Analyst to join its Medtech Data team in Bangalore. The role focuses on analyzing complex healthcare datasets, conducting market research, performing competitive analysis, and delivering strategic insights for the global medical device industry.
The Senior Analyst will work with large healthcare data sources to support forecasting models, custom consulting projects, and market intelligence initiatives. This role requires strong expertise in data analysis, SQL programming, and healthcare market research.
Key Responsibilities
Healthcare Data Analysis and Market Research
Analyze complex healthcare and MedTech datasets to identify trends, patterns, and strategic insights.
Conduct both primary and secondary market research on medical devices and healthcare technology markets.
Support forecasting models and market intelligence initiatives for healthcare and MedTech clients.
Data Management and Data Modeling
Build, manage, and analyze multiple large datasets used for healthcare market modeling and analytics.
Use SQL and Python to extract, process, and analyze healthcare data from diverse sources.
Maintain and update MedTech product catalogs and healthcare data repositories.
Competitive and Market Intelligence
Conduct research on emerging medical device markets, product segmentation, and competitive landscapes.
Evaluate healthcare market trends and identify opportunities for innovation and market growth.
Provide analytical insights that help medical device companies make strategic business decisions.
Client and Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with internal stakeholders and global healthcare clients to understand market challenges and analytical needs.
Deliver insights and recommendations based on healthcare market data and research findings.
Quality Assurance and Data Validation
Review analytical outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency across datasets.
Identify potential data errors, anomalies, or inconsistencies and implement corrective measures.
Product and Data Strategy Contribution
Contribute ideas and recommendations that support the development of new healthcare analytics products and data solutions.
Participate in initiatives aimed at improving data models, analytical frameworks, and data usage strategies.
Required Skills and Competencies
Strong expertise in SQL and Python for healthcare data analysis.
Experience working with large datasets and healthcare analytics projects.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Excellent presentation, communication, and technical documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of MedTech market data and healthcare industry analytics.
Experience working with medical device, claims, or pharmacy datasets.
