Job Overview

Clario is seeking a Respiratory OverRead Clinical Specialist to support the review, analysis, and quality assurance of pulmonary function test (PFT) data for clinical trials. This remote role plays a critical part in ensuring data integrity, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery of respiratory over-read services across global studies.

The position is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in pulmonary diagnostics who are looking to contribute to clinical research in a flexible, remote environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed analysis and clinical over-read of pulmonary function testing (PFT) data

  • Ensure respiratory clinical trial data meets quality standards and contracted turnaround timelines

  • Respond to data-related queries from sponsors, investigator sites, monitors, and project managers

  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve data discrepancies and quality issues

  • Provide regular status updates and reporting to the Director of Respiratory OverRead

  • Support additional clinical and operational tasks as assigned


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy, Physiology, Life Sciences, or equivalent practical experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pulmonary function testing or a related clinical field

  • Preferred certifications include:

    • NBRC credentials (CPFT, RPFT, CRT, RRT)

    • NIOSH Respiratory Surveillance Training Program

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and G Suite applications

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
