🧠 About the Role

Fortrea, one of the largest Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) globally, operates four Early Phase Clinical Research Units in the UK and US.

We are currently seeking a Research Nurse (open to RNs, LPNs, or Paramedics) to join our Clinical Pharmacology Start-up Team, responsible for initiating Early Phase Clinical Trials with speed and precision.

📅 Schedule: Full-time, Weekend Overnight Shift
🕕 Shift Hours: Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
🏢 Work Type: On-site / Clinic-based
👥 Openings: Multiple

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high standard of care for clinical trial participants using sound clinical judgment.

  • Monitor participant well-being, record adverse events, and take appropriate clinical action.

  • Obtain informed consent and educate participants on study procedures and requirements.

  • Administer investigational compounds according to study protocols.

  • Perform clinical activities including:

    • Venipuncture

    • Cannulation

    • Telemetry

    • Vital Signs Monitoring

    • ECG Recording

  • Collect, process, and document biological samples accurately.

  • Enter and transcribe source data into Case Report Forms (CRFs).

  • Respond effectively to emergencies following nursing standards.

  • Maintain strict protocol compliance and timely task execution.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

📋 Qualifications

Required

  • Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

  • Active RN/LPN License in the applicable state

  • Paramedics must hold valid certification

Preferred

  • EMT, Phlebotomy, CMA, or CNA certification

  • 0–1 years of nursing experience (new grads welcome)

  • Equivalent relevant experience may be considered
