Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Supervisor to lead clinical studies and regulatory functions across Medtronic therapies. This role ensures that studies are scientifically valid, ethically conducted, and compliant with regulatory standards, contributing to timely product approvals. The ideal candidate will combine clinical research expertise with strong leadership skills to manage teams, guide strategic initiatives, and maintain stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, execution, and oversight of local and global clinical studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical guidelines.

  • Develop and implement regulatory strategies to achieve timely product approvals from worldwide authorities.

  • Supervise clinical research teams, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management to ensure operational excellence.

  • Represent Medtronic in interactions with local customers, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders, gathering feedback and maintaining strong professional relationships.

  • Monitor and manage project timelines, team resources, and deliverables across multiple therapeutic areas.

  • Support continuous improvement by recommending process enhancements and innovative solutions to study challenges.

Leadership & People Management:

  • Directly manage a team of support personnel, overseeing workflow, resource allocation, and productivity.

  • Conduct performance reviews, set objectives, and guide professional development for team members.

  • Provide input for hiring, promotions, and rewards decisions for direct reports.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, engagement, and inclusion within the team.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Clinical Research, or a related field (or equivalent international qualification).

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical research or regulatory experience.

  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.

  • Knowledge of clinical trial operations, regulatory submissions, and ethical guidelines.

  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
