Key Responsibilities:

  • Analytical Expertise: Perform routine and advanced analysis using techniques such as HPLC, LCMS, and NMR.
  • Instrument Handling: Operate and maintain analytical instruments independently, ensuring they are clean, calibrated, and fully functional.
  • Method Development: Contribute to or lead method development, particularly in HPLC/LCMS, as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the synthetic chemistry team to resolve analytical challenges and provide timely results.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure accurate documentation of all analyses, instrument maintenance, and calibration activities. Maintain compliance with all laboratory safety protocols.
  • Safety: Ensure the laboratory remains a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations and protocols.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry or related field.
  • Experience:
    • 2 years of relevant experience in analytical chemistry, preferably in pharmaceutical or CRO environments.
    • Exposure to instruments such as HPLC, LCMS, and NMR.
    • Experience in routine analysis, method development (desirable but not necessary), and troubleshooting.
    • Familiarity with laboratory safety practices and maintenance of analytical equipment.

Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of instrumental techniques and their applications.
  • Proficiency in maintaining and operating HPLC/LCMS/NMR instruments.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical thinking.
