Position Summary

We are looking for an independent and strategic Grant Writer to build and lead our grant writing program from the ground up. This role is critical to securing funding and establishing a sustainable grant program that will support our mission. The ideal candidate will be proactive, experienced, and skilled at crafting compelling proposals and cultivating relationships with funders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Design and implement a comprehensive strategy for grant writing.
  • Grant Research & Writing: Identify and research funding opportunities, and submit high-quality proposals.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with funders and community partners.
  • Data Management: Establish systems to track proposals, deadlines, and reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven success in securing a range of grant funding.
  • Strong strategic and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience with healthcare and social services sectors is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create persuasive proposals.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Health, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
