Job Description - Regional Medical Affairs Manager

Minimum Qualification & Experience:

  • MD/MBBS/MDS/BDS with 3-5 years of experience in a regional/medico-marketing role within a pharmaceutical/nutrition company.

Critical Skills Required:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, coordination, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve, work in teams, and lead towards defined objectives.
  • Capable of presenting complex scientific data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work independently, meticulously, and adaptively under various conditions.
  • Proficient in preparing and delivering scientific presentations for internal teams and HCPs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel as required and manage scientific activities in assigned regions.
  • Deliver lectures/presentations at scientific forums to promote scientific communication.
  • Conduct HCP E-engagement platforms as per divisional directives.
  • Fieldwork with regional sales teams (face-to-face or e-calls with HCPs).
  • Facilitate the exchange of unbiased scientific information between the company and the medical community.
  • Liaison with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) for educational and scientific initiatives to build long-term relationships.
  • Identify, segment, and develop KOLs across various therapeutic areas.
  • Provide medical information services (MIS) to support the sales force with the latest medical research and best practices.
  • Train and update field force on medical and product knowledge in coordination with the training team.
  • Monitor competitive/scientific intelligence and provide insights to the medical affairs team for objection handling.
  • Ensure all activities comply with internal guidelines, country regulations, and industry codes of promotional practices.
