Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic professional to serve as the primary scientific interface between Dr. Reddy’s and the medical community, including key thought leaders (KTLs) and physicians, within a designated therapeutic area. The role involves identifying, engaging, and collaborating with thought leaders to drive scientific exchange, medical education, and strategic medical initiatives in alignment with organizational goals.


Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Scientific Engagement & Thought Leader Management

  • Identify, map, and continuously profile key thought leaders (KTLs) within the assigned geography and therapy area.

  • Build and maintain strong peer-to-peer scientific relationships with healthcare professionals and thought leaders.

  • Engage KTLs through scientific discussions, advisory boards, and medical meetings aligned with strategic medical plans.

  • Represent Dr. Reddy’s as the scientific expert at internal and external scientific forums.

2. Strategic Medical Affairs Execution

  • Execute the medical affairs strategy, including medical and product education programs, evidence generation initiatives, pre-launch activities, and special projects.

  • Support therapy area leads in developing and implementing annual medical affairs strategic plans.

  • Conduct disease trend analyses and contribute insights to therapy strategy development.

  • Translate insights from KTL interactions into actionable medical strategies and product plans.

3. Scientific Communication & Evidence Generation

  • Serve as a therapeutic area expert and trusted scientific counterpart to physicians, pharmacists, and medical societies.

  • Respond proactively and reactively to scientific queries from healthcare professionals.

  • Collaborate with KTLs on publications, reviews, meta-analyses, case studies, and patient-reported outcomes for reputed journals.

  • Support development of medical and promotional content in alignment with compliance and approval processes.

4. Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure all medical affairs activities comply with Dr. Reddy’s Code of Business Ethics (COBE) and corporate compliance guidelines.

  • Oversee timely approval of promotional, physician, and patient education materials as per company policy.

  • Uphold ethical standards in all scientific communications and collaborations.

5. Internal Collaboration & Training

  • Partner with therapy area leads and cross-functional teams to drive optimal patient outcomes through scientific communication.

  • Develop and implement training programs to keep sales and marketing teams updated on the latest clinical data and medical developments.

  • Actively contribute to new product ideation and differentiation strategies by identifying unmet medical needs through stakeholder engagement.


Qualifications

Educational Qualification

  • MBBS with a full-time postgraduate degree (minimum 2 years) in any medical discipline
    OR

  • MBBS with MBA from a reputed institute

Experience

  • Fresh postgraduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience in Field-based Medical Affairs are eligible.

  • Proven ability to interpret and communicate medical and scientific data effectively.

  • Research and analytical expertise with understanding of medical evidence and data analysis.

  • Prior exposure to complex business and scientific environments preferred.
