Job Summary

Novo Nordisk is hiring for the role of Regional Medical Advisor - Insulin / Semaglutide to join its Medical Affairs team in Delhi, India. This on-site role offers the chance to drive medical strategy execution, provide scientific training to healthcare professionals (HCPs), and build strong relationships with key opinion leaders in the diabetes and obesity therapy areas. This position plays a crucial role in shaping the medical support and market positioning of Novo Nordisk's innovative portfolio.


Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the Indian medical strategy through regional activities.

  • Establish and maintain scientific relationships with HCPs and key stakeholders.

  • Conduct training and educational programs for physicians and healthcare teams.

  • Provide medical support to marketing and sales teams for product positioning.

  • Anticipate market dynamics, foresee challenges, and propose proactive solutions.

  • Participate in scientific meetings and gather clinical insights from KOLs.

  • Educate field and marketing personnel on disease, therapy, and products.

  • Build strong advocacy for Novo Nordisk’s portfolio through scientific interactions.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • MBBS/MD in Pharmacology from a reputed institution.

  • MDS/BDS with at least 2 years of clinical or related pharma experience (Medical Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, clinical research, etc.).

  • In-depth scientific knowledge in diabetes, obesity, and relevant therapeutic areas.

  • Strong analytical, planning, and execution skills.

  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and negotiation abilities.

  • Innovative mindset with operational excellence focus.
