Job Description

Position: Medical Affairs - Scientific Expert (Therapeutic Area)

Dr. Reddy’s is seeking a highly skilled medical professional to serve as the primary scientific face for the organization’s engagement with thought leaders and physicians within a specific therapeutic area. The role involves identifying, mapping, and profiling thought leaders, executing strategic medical affairs plans, and fostering scientific discussions to support the organization’s medical goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with identified thought leaders through medical affairs activities in line with strategic plans.
Execute activities including medical education, evidence generation, advisory boards, and special projects.
Serve as the scientific expert in the therapeutic area, communicating scientific data and trends to healthcare professionals.
Support optimal patient outcomes through data communication and collaboration with therapy area leads.
Gather insights on disease trends, treatment patterns, and communicate findings to commercial teams.
Develop and execute the Medical Affairs strategic plan, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Support the sales and marketing teams with training on the latest medical developments.
Ensure compliance with Dr. Reddy’s COBE (Code of Business Ethics) Policy.
Publish scientific findings in reputable journals and contribute to new product development.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

MBBS with a full-time postgraduate qualification in any medical discipline (at least 2 years) or MBBS with an MBA from a reputed institute.

Experience:

Fresh postgraduates or up to 2 years of experience in field-based Medical Affairs.

Deep knowledge of the therapeutic area, research methodologies, and data interpretation.
Strong scientific acumen with the ability to communicate effectively with leading specialists.
