Position Summary:
The Regional Medical Advisor will act as the primary scientific liaison between Dr. Reddy’s and key thought leaders and healthcare professionals within a specific therapy area and geography. The role involves driving scientific engagement, shaping medical strategies, ensuring ethical compliance, and contributing to improved patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage key thought leaders through scientific and medical affairs activities aligned with strategic plans.
Execute strategic medical affairs plans including medical education, evidence generation, and special projects.
Serve as a therapeutic area expert providing scientific insights to HCPs and stakeholders.
Gather and analyze disease trends and treatment patterns; provide strategic input to therapy and commercial teams.
Support development and execution of Medical Affairs Strategy Plans.
Handle scientific queries from healthcare professionals.
Ensure all activities are compliant with Dr. Reddy’s Code of Business Ethics and regulatory standards.
Collaborate on the development of training plans for internal teams.
Contribute to research publications including meta-analyses, case series, and outcomes studies.
Champion new product ideas by identifying unmet needs through stakeholder engagement.
Approve promotional and educational materials as per internal guidelines and timelines.
Qualifications:
MBBS with full-time postgraduate qualification (minimum 2 years) in any medical discipline OR MBBS with MBA from a reputed institute.
Experience:
Fresh postgraduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience in field-based medical affairs.
Technical Skills:
Strong academic foundation and expertise in the relevant therapeutic area.
Understanding of research methodologies and medical data interpretation.
Proficiency in handling complex business environments.
Recognized track record of professional excellence.
