Position Overview

As the Regional Manager PBS, you will develop and implement sales strategies aimed at driving growth and improving revenue from public health reimbursement channels. You will play a key role in engaging with healthcare providers, payers, and public health officials to shape and enhance Roche’s position in public health sectors. Your deep understanding of public health policies and reimbursement mechanisms will allow you to identify and capitalize on opportunities to drive business growth and ensure Roche's competitive positioning.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales Strategy Development & Implementation:

    • Develop a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets within the public health reimbursement business segment.
    • Identify new business opportunities within the public health sector, including government programs, public health organizations, and relevant accounts.
  2. Tender Management:

    • Identify potential tender opportunities through market analysis and monitoring of tender platforms.
    • Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality tender documents, ensuring compliance with all requirements and deadlines.
    • Supervise and manage the entire tender lifecycle, ensuring successful submissions.
  3. Market and Competitor Analysis:

    • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to provide strategic insights and ensure Roche’s competitive positioning.
    • Advise on sales strategies based on ongoing market and competitor analysis.
  4. Stakeholder Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders including healthcare providers, payers, public health officials, and policymakers.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for public health reimbursement clients, addressing needs and concerns promptly.
    • Travel as required to meet with stakeholders and attend relevant industry events.
  5. Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with internal teams to address reimbursement challenges and opportunities, ensuring alignment with sales initiatives.
    • Provide insights and feedback to internal teams on public health reimbursement policies, guidelines, and changes affecting the business.
  6. Advocacy and Public Health Engagement:

    • Advocate for favorable reimbursement conditions by engaging with policymakers and attending industry forums and discussions on public health topics.
  7. Sales Forecasting & Performance Monitoring:

    • Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics to track progress and ensure sales goals are achieved.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field. An advanced degree in Business is preferred.
  • Experience:

    • 7-10 years of sales experience in the In-vitro Diagnostics (IVD) or medical device industry, with a focus on public health and reimbursed business.
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in competitive markets.
  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong understanding of public health reimbursement mechanisms, policies, and stakeholders.
    • Excellent decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage complexity in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with healthcare providers, payers, and policymakers.
