    Job Title: RDDO India Site Lead
    Location: IN / Hyderabad

    About the Job:

    Join Sanofi's Research and Development Data Office (RDDO) and be part of a transformative role where you’ll provide expert leadership in data governance and management. As the RDDO India Site Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s data strategy, driving data-driven insights, and accelerating decision-making across drug discovery and development. You will help define and implement data governance frameworks and data management strategies to support Sanofi's vision of democratized and compliant access to quality R&D data.

    As a key member of the team, you will ensure that structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data are appropriately stored, integrated, and shared, serving the needs of various R&D stakeholders like scientists and clinicians. You’ll also work to ensure that all data is FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable).

    Major Responsibilities:

    • Data Governance Leadership: Own data governance for your assigned domain (e.g., Research, Clinical, Regulatory), establishing frameworks for data quality, access controls, privacy compliance, and data sharing.
    • Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate across teams to ensure adherence to data governance principles, driving the design of systems that support data governance and information modeling.
    • Metrics & Standards: Develop metrics for assessing the effectiveness of governance policies, creating and managing data standards, nomenclature, and taxonomies across R&D.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business and digital teams to define specifications and ensure smooth integration of data foundations and management practices in R&D processes.
    • Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and regulatory policies, maintaining documentation on data flows, standards, and legacy structures.
    • Project Management: Lead data-related projects in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and influencing senior executives and cross-functional teams.

    About You:

    • Experience: Extensive experience in R&D lifecycle data management with a specialization in domains like Research or Clinical.
    • Skills: Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, data standards, and data stewardship. Proficiency in data management, common data models, data visualization tools, and programming basics. Experience with tools like Visio, metadata management, and business glossary development.
    • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead data governance initiatives, project management experience, and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
    • Education: PhD or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
    • Languages: Fluent in English with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
