Role Summary:

As a Quality Specialist – SFMC (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) at Novartis, you will be responsible for performing quality assurance checks across campaign assets, deployments, and configurations. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the effectiveness, accuracy, and reliability of digital marketing initiatives through data-driven insights and robust quality control.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with campaign managers and deployment teams to assess campaign design, subscriber targeting, and personalization logic

  • Conduct thorough QA on email builds, content matrices, journey configurations, and rendering accuracy

  • Perform Segmentation and Deployment QA, ensuring optimal campaign performance

  • Review and validate data extensions, AMPscript, automation processes, and personalization logic

  • Use Litmus or Email on Acid for cross-platform rendering validation

  • Leverage SQL or equivalent for data validation and query analysis

  • Update QA documentation, automated test tools, and reporting dashboards

  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and data privacy regulations

  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for automation and process optimization

  • Support onboarding, training, and knowledge sharing within the GCO (Global Commercial Operations) team


Essential Requirements:

  • 3+ years of QA experience in SFMC Campaigns

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification is mandatory

  • Proficient with SFMC modules: Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, SMS & Web Studio

  • Skilled in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AMPscript

  • Hands-on experience with Litmus, Email on Acid, or similar testing platforms

  • Knowledge of SQL and data validation methods

  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to handle multiple projects

  • Familiarity with GDPR/data protection regulations

  • Exposure to Gen AI or Agentic AI is an advantage

  • Education: BTech / Master’s in Technology / MBA
