Position Summary

As a Quality Associate at Baxter, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring product quality throughout the entire lifecycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet regulatory standards and internal quality expectations—directly impacting patient safety and improving lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance across the product lifecycle.

  • Participate in quality inspections, audits, and document reviews.

  • Support root cause analysis and assist in the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and regulatory teams to resolve quality issues.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality System Regulations (QSR).

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.

Note: Specific duties may vary by business unit and facility.


Required Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Life Sciences, Engineering, Quality, or Manufacturing preferred).

  • Experience: Prior experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.

  • Skills:

    • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy

    • Effective communicator and team collaborator

    • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

    • Familiarity with quality systems, compliance, and auditing processes
