Job Overview

The QA Lead is responsible for managing and progressing quality issues within the Quality Management System (QMS), supporting CAPA creation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves collaborating with internal teams, tracking quality metrics, and supporting QA leadership in reporting and client communications.


Summary of Responsibilities

  • Work with internal teams to progress quality issues in QMS.

  • Track timeliness of cases in QMS.

  • Support teams in the creation of CAPAs.

  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of QMS processes.

  • Interact with QA Lead Manager and above for case progression and client notifications.

  • Assist QA Lead Manager in pulling metric data, trending, and tracking Quality Issues (QI).

  • Perform any other duties as needed or assigned.


Qualifications (Minimum Required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences preferred, or equivalent Life Science experience.


Experience (Minimum Required)

  • Minimum 8 years in a regulatory environment (experience in GXP roles).

  • Strong understanding of QMS and CAPA processes.

  • Ability to work well within a team environment.

  • Communicate key details of quality issues internally.

  • Communicate quality issue summaries to clients, where applicable.

  • Knowledge of GCPs/GXPs.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant and equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.


Physical Demands / Work Environment

  • Travel may be required.

  • Office-based (Hybrid) as requested by the line manager.
