Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary project teams, overseeing the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of contract manufacturing initiatives.

As a Project Manager, you will provide direction and coordination for contract manufacturing projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, on time, and according to the specified requirements.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will take on additional responsibilities, including mentoring and directing Associate Project Managers, recommending process improvements, and contributing to strategic project management advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support multidisciplinary contract manufacturing teams through all stages of project execution.
  • Ensure accurate project schedules, timelines, and scope management, while regularly updating stakeholders and team members.
  • Manage equipment and component procurement to meet project requirements.
  • Maintain clear communication regarding project progress, potential changes in timeline or scope, and resource needs.
  • Monitor and report on critical project elements such as validation activities, process transfers, and shipping requirements.
  • Ensure that manufacturing personnel are properly trained and documentation is complete prior to production.
  • Interact with Quality Assurance and Maintenance teams to resolve production issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct reviews and updates of manufacturing, validation, and other documentation as required by the project.
  • Accompany clients during plant visits throughout the process.
  • In the Senior Project Manager role, contribute to process and system improvements within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Hard Sciences/Engineering) required, OR 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of project management experience required; 5-10 years preferred.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the FDA-regulated pharmaceutical industry required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word required; experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project preferred.
  • Strong conflict management and influencing skills.
  • Experience in aseptic areas or cleanroom environments desired.
  • Mechanical aptitude desired.

Senior Project Manager Additional Qualifications:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required, or completion within 1 year of employment.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, including experience in FDA-regulated pharmaceutical environments.
  • A proven track record of managing complex projects with cross-functional teams.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hiring Wage: $77,968 - $101,400 (Up to $114,000 for Sr. PM, depending on experience).
