Job Summary

ICON plc, a global leader in healthcare intelligence and clinical research, is hiring a Project Manager I EDS to oversee bioanalytical projects in Whitesboro, NY. This is a full-time opportunity for experienced professionals passionate about process improvement and clinical data integrity. The role includes managing timelines, coordinating lab operations, and ensuring regulatory compliance throughout project delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage bioanalytical study progress, budgets, and timelines

  • Coordinate sample tracking and laboratory operations

  • Review protocols, amendments, and client documentation for regulatory compliance

  • Develop and implement client-approved analysis plans

  • Provide regular project updates to sponsors and internal teams

  • Track deliverables and resources, ensuring timely completion

  • Approve and review lab notebooks and analytical data

  • Maintain GxP-compliant documentation and archives

  • Identify scope changes and initiate change orders

  • Prepare QA-compliant reports and address findings


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in laboratory or project management roles

  • Strong understanding of GxP, GLP, and clinical laboratory standards

  • Familiarity with study protocol development and sample logistics

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

  • Ability to manage multi-stakeholder collaboration across clinical teams

  • Experience with laboratory operations and client communication preferred
