Job Summary

Dr. Reddy’s is looking for a Product Manager who will be responsible for brand growth, new product development, and marketing strategy execution. The role involves interacting with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to gather insights, developing product launch plans, implementing market research strategies, and ensuring the availability of products through effective supply chain management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Product Idea Generation & Market Insights: Interact with KOLs to generate new product ideas, prioritize these ideas, prepare business cases, and analyze market and competitor data. Handle creative aspects such as branding to ensure timely product launches.
  • Marketing Planning & Execution: Develop product launch materials, coordinate launch meetings, train the sales force, and track product performance over the first 12 months to ensure effective marketing.
  • Brand Performance Review: Gather market insights, identify key issues, and implement corrective action plans to maintain optimal brand performance. Conduct market research for brand positioning adjustments.
  • KOL Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, gather insights, update them on product value, and collaborate on product evidence and clinical reports to drive growth.
  • Supply Chain Management (SCM): Monitor product quantities, coordinate with the SCM team to share new product quantities, and resolve product shortages or excess inventory to ensure product availability.
  • Regional Sales Collaboration: Meet with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) to collect feedback, develop region-specific strategies, and incorporate regional needs into the product plan to improve product performance.

Qualifications

  • Education: Science/Pharma/Medical Graduate, preferably with an MBA in Marketing.
  • Experience: 3-6 years of experience in marketing, with a preference for candidates with a background in chronic therapies.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and ability to interpret market data.
    • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
    • Strong analytical skills to track market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the generics market.
    • Problem-solving abilities to address regulatory challenges and market access issues.
