Job Title: Pharmacovigilance Specialist

Location:
This position can be performed either onsite or offsite, depending on the arrangement.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform case triage, quality checks, data entry, and other administrative tasks related to pharmacovigilance activities.
  • Ensure smooth execution of all pharmacovigilance (PV) activities performed from both onsite and offsite locations.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to PV teams onsite, ensuring adherence to processes and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure all client requests are completed on time, meeting deadlines.
  • Address any ambiguities in client updates and clarify unclear information.
  • Facilitate smooth communication between clients and the offshore team to ensure alignment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in pharmacovigilance, including individual case triage or quality control (QC).
  • Strong expertise in processing pharmacovigilance activities such as ICSR management, quality control, and generating specific reports.
  • Familiarity with Pharmaceutical Affairs Law, GVP/GPSP Ministerial Ordinance, and related operational standards.
  • Native-level proficiency in Japanese, along with a good command of English.

  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to manage training for team members.
  • Clear and logical communication skills, especially in explaining complex information.
  • Experience in responding to client inquiries and managing client relationships.
