Job Description

Role Overview

The Process Coach is responsible for training and mentoring new coders, ensuring quality and productivity targets are met, and aligning team performance with process standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand quality requirements from both process and target perspectives

  • Train new joiners in Medical Coding, following provided guidelines

  • Monitor trainee productivity and quality during OJT ramp-up phase

  • Deliver structured and continuous feedback

  • Educate team on client specifications and latest coding updates

  • Conduct 1-on-1 coaching sessions to address repeated errors

  • Communicate trainee performance feedback to Team Leads

  • Pass on QC feedback effectively to trainees

  • Support early confirmation decisions for trainees through input and documentation

Training & Coaching Expectations

  • Deliver extensive coaching aligned to process standards

  • Use varied coaching strategies tailored to individual learning needs

  • Maintain strong communication (verbal & written)

  • Exhibit excellent process knowledge in Pathology Medical Coding
