Responsibilities

  • Develop protocols, analysis plans, PK/PD analyses, and pharmacometric reports for pre-clinical and Phase I-IV clinical studies

  • Consult with Clinical Pharmacology staff on study design, analyses, and clinical development plans

  • Plan and conduct a wide range of pharmacometric analyses to inform clinical and drug development decisions

  • Prepare or review PK/PD sections of regulatory dossiers and communicate with regulatory agencies

  • Assess pharmacometric needs and integrate information into drug development milestones and decisions

  • Ensure quality and timely delivery of PK/PD project deliverables

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Project Managers, CRAs, Data Managers, Biostatisticians, Programmers, and Medical Writers

  • Stay current with developments in pharmacometrics and clinical pharmacology through literature, technology, and professional meetings


Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • PharmD, PhD, or equivalent degree in pharmacology, pharmacy, pharmacometrics, pharmaceutics, biology, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or related modeling field

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Pharmacokinetics or Pharmacology in a CRO or pharmaceutical environment

  • Minimum 2 years applying model-based methods in pre-clinical and clinical drug development

Technical Skills & Knowledge

  • Expert knowledge of pharmacometric concepts including compartmental/noncompartmental analysis, population PK modeling, and drug development trends

  • Strong understanding of drug development processes, ICH GCP, and regulatory requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, WinNonlin, NONMEM, R, and basic SAS programming

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities

Other Skills

  • Ability to prioritize, coordinate, and manage PK/PD components of complex projects independently

  • Experience working effectively within cross-functional, multicultural teams

  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients


Compensation & Benefits

💰 Annual Salary Range:
$105,800 – $294,800 (may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, and schedule)
