Job Title: PK/PD Data Manager (Fully Remote - Contract Role)

Job Description:
Our client is seeking a PK/PD Data Manager to join their team on a fully remote contract basis. The role requires expertise in data analysis and management, literature review, and dataset formatting, with a specific focus on pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) datasets. The Data Manager will be responsible for extracting relevant data from literature searches, digitizing data, and organizing it for further analysis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing biotechnology company.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement data storage and organization systems to facilitate efficient access and manipulation of datasets.
  • Clean and standardize data to ensure high quality for analysis.
  • Organize and manage PK and PD datasets for modeling and simulation by the PKPD team.
  • Conduct in-depth literature searches on specific topics of interest for the Development Sciences organization.
  • Extract relevant data, including digitizing figures/graphs from published articles, experimental results, methods, and key findings.
  • Critically evaluate the quality and reliability of scientific literature.
  • Provide summary outputs, including basic data characteristics (e.g., summary statistics, comparison tables).
  • Create simple data visualizations to effectively communicate findings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with complex datasets in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in literature searches, data extraction, and digitizing graphs and figures.
  • Familiarity with PK and PD dataset standard formats (e.g., Phoenix WinNonlin, NonMEM, R) is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Minimum BS in Biology, Chemistry, or other life science disciplines.
