Phlebotomist

Location: Clinical Pharmacology Unit, Cincinnati, OH
Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Summary

Medpace is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist to join its growing Clinical Pharmacology Unit team. This role provides an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise and contribute to key projects that are critical to Medpace's success. Responsibilities

  • Assist with study participant screening, admission, orientation, conduct, and discharge.
  • Perform phlebotomy, laboratory specimen collection, electrocardiogram placement, and vital signs as per protocol.
  • Assess, document, and report adverse events to the project team in a timely manner.
  • Assist clinical staff with study-related duties, including laboratory draws, data entry, queries, and follow-up appointments.
  • May coordinate studies, including working with the research team on study processes, informed consent, and investigational drug accountability.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • High school diploma required.
    • Graduate of a medical assistant or phlebotomy program preferred.
  • Experience:
    • At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience required.
