Role Overview

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to provide practical pharmacy support in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You will assist with clinical research protocols and therapeutic areas while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain contact with organizations that support pharmacy supply functions.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and GMP/GCP guidelines.

  • Understand all allocated protocols regarding Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) and Investigational Medicinal Product (IMP) handling.

  • Attend study meetings as appropriate.

  • Assist Pharmacist/Study Lead with Sponsor interactions.

  • Cross-train in study operations tasks as needed.

  • Assist with receipt, storage, packaging, disposition, and retention of API and IMP.

  • Maintain complete records for API/IMP handling.

  • Prepare doses and follow manufacturing/assembly/dispensing instructions.

  • Generate accurate labels for IMPs.

  • Ensure continued supply of stock items.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pharmacy.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Certification: Pharmacy Technician Certification recommended.

  • Experience: 1–2 years in pharmaceutical or hospital pharmacy experience preferred; sterile preparation experience strongly preferred.

  • Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
