Pharmacovigilance Specialist – Hybrid | Almería, Spain
Job Summary:
PVpharm is hiring a Pharmacovigilance Specialist to join its headquarters in Almería, Spain. In this hybrid role, you will contribute to multiple international and national drug safety projects, ensuring compliance with European and local PV legislation. This is a full-time permanent opportunity ideal for professionals seeking career advancement in a growing pharmacovigilance service provider.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with EU and local pharmacovigilance requirements
Set up and maintain PV systems according to SOPs
Receive, process, and document adverse events and follow-ups
Contribute to the creation of Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSURs)
Support audits, inspections, and CAPA implementation
Conduct literature monitoring for safety signals and case detection
Manage assigned PV projects and deliverables on time
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance
Educational background in Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Medicine, Biology, etc.)
Strong understanding of European and local PV regulations
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
Good command of Spanish is an advantage
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality
Proactive attitude and team-oriented mindset
