Overview:
This role falls under the Life Sciences R&D vertical, which supports the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry across research, clinical, regulatory, and safety functions.
You will contribute to pharmacovigilance and drug safety surveillance — ensuring the collection, processing, and reporting of adverse events comply with global standards and regulations.
Job Description:
As a Pharmacovigilance Services Associate, you will assist in monitoring drug safety activities, case management, and regulatory submissions.
You will work as part of a team responsible for managing Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) and ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Affiliate Mailbox and perform report reconciliation as per process guidelines.
Conduct written follow-up activities for both serious and non-serious cases.
Handle case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, case processing, submission, and follow-up in safety databases.
Ensure compliance with client guidelines and global regulatory requirements (e.g., ICH, EMA, FDA).
Solve routine pharmacovigilance issues using standard guidelines and past precedents.
Communicate effectively within the team and report to supervisors.
Follow detailed instructions for new tasks and moderate guidance for daily operations.
Perform as an individual contributor in a focused workstream.
Be flexible to work in rotational shifts as per project needs.
Qualifications:
🎓 Required Education:
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm)
💼 Preferred Experience:
1–3 years in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or related areas (Freshers may apply)
Skills Required:
Knowledge of pharmacovigilance operations and drug safety processes
Familiarity with ICSR workflow and safety databases
Understanding of MedDRA coding and regulatory reporting timelines
Strong analytical and documentation skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and team collaboration skills
Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet strict timelines
