Job Overview

Accenture is hiring experienced Pharmacovigilance Services Analysts to support global drug safety and pharmacovigilance operations within its Life Sciences R&D vertical. This role focuses on ICSR case processing, safety surveillance, and regulatory compliance, supporting leading biopharmaceutical clients worldwide.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end ICSR case management, including case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, processing, submissions, and follow-ups in safety databases.

  • Monitor, assess, and evaluate the safety of pharmaceutical products to detect and prevent adverse drug reactions.

  • Ensure pharmacovigilance activities comply with client guidelines, global regulatory requirements, and internal SOPs.

  • Analyze safety data collected from clinical trials, healthcare professionals, and patients.

  • Support accurate and timely reporting to regulatory authorities.

  • Work as an individual contributor within a team, handling assigned tasks with moderate supervision.

  • Resolve lower-complexity issues and escalate appropriately when required.

  • Collaborate primarily with internal teams, with limited exposure to clients or senior management.

  • Adhere to delivery timelines and quality standards in a rotational shift environment, if required.


Experience Required

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Pharmacovigilance Operations or Drug Safety Case Processing.

  • Hands-on experience in ICSR processing, MedDRA coding, and safety database usage is essential.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / M.Pharm)

  • MSc in a relevant life sciences discipline
