Role Overview

ICON Strategic Solutions is hiring a Pharmacovigilance Associate – Post Marketing (FSP, Sponsor Dedicated) to support post-marketing drug safety activities for a dedicated sponsor. This role is critical in ensuring ongoing patient safety through accurate adverse event processing, regulatory compliance, and proactive risk management. The position is ideal for professionals with hands-on pharmacovigilance case processing experience seeking to work in a global, sponsor-aligned model.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, review, and process post-marketing adverse event reports in compliance with global regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure accurate, complete, and timely safety reporting in pharmacovigilance databases.

  • Perform signal detection and support risk assessment activities to identify potential safety concerns.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address safety inquiries, follow-ups, and investigations.

  • Assist in the preparation and review of safety reports, periodic reports, and regulatory submissions.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices.


Experience Required

  • 2–5 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety, preferably within a pharmaceutical, CRO, or clinical research environment.

  • Mandatory experience in pharmacovigilance case processing, including post-marketing safety cases.

  • Prior experience working in an FSP or sponsor-dedicated model is an advantage.


Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or a related discipline.

  • A postgraduate or advanced degree is preferred but not mandatory.


Skills & Competencies

  • Fluency in English (written, spoken, and reading).

  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder collaboration.

  • Solid understanding of global pharmacovigilance regulations and post-marketing safety requirements.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

  • Strong sense of accountability and commitment to patient safety.
