Role Overview:

As a Pharmacovigilance Services Analyst at Accenture, you will be part of the Life Sciences R&D vertical, focusing on pharmacovigilance and drug safety surveillance. Your role will involve managing and processing case reports in the safety database, ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements, and providing insights into patient safety data. You will be responsible for managing the Affiliate Mailbox, handling case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, and ensuring case follow-up according to client guidelines.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Create and manage case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, case processing, submission, and follow-ups for Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) in the safety database as per client guidelines.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with global pharmacovigilance and regulatory requirements when processing adverse event cases.
  • Affiliate Mailbox Management: Manage the Affiliate Mailbox, ensuring reconciliation of reports and performance of written follow-up attempts for both serious and non-serious cases.
  • Data Processing: Handle serious and non-serious adverse event cases, performing data entry and ensuring timely submission and follow-up.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with peers within Accenture to resolve low-complexity problems and provide updates to supervisors.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with clients and Accenture management as required, addressing issues and providing updates on case processing.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor of Pharmacy or Master of Pharmacy.
  • Experience:
    • 3 to 5 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety surveillance.
  • Skills:
    • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and meet deadlines.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for lower-complexity issues.
    • Good understanding of MedDRA coding and safety case processing.
  • Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
