Job Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Trial Monitoring: Oversee and manage the safety and efficacy of drugs during clinical trials.
  • Post-Marketing Surveillance: Monitor the safety profile of marketed drugs to ensure ongoing safety and efficacy.
  • Adverse Event Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report adverse drug reactions (ADRs) in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Submissions: Prepare and submit necessary documentation to regulatory authorities.
  • Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management plans to mitigate potential drug safety issues.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including clinical research, regulatory affairs, and medical affairs to ensure comprehensive pharmacovigilance activities.
  • Data Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of pharmacovigilance data to identify trends and potential safety concerns.
  • Compliance: Ensure all pharmacovigilance activities comply with local and international regulations, guidelines, and company policies.
  • Training: Provide training and guidance to junior team members and other stakeholders on pharmacovigilance processes and procedures.
