Job Overview

ICON Strategic Solutions, a global leader in healthcare intelligence and clinical research, is seeking a Pharmacovigilance Associate to join its expanding global safety team. This is a remote, home-based opportunity in Brazil, ideal for professionals passionate about drug safety, regulatory compliance, and patient protection.

As a Pharmacovigilance Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of pharmaceutical products throughout their lifecycle by managing adverse event data, supporting signal detection, and contributing to regulatory safety reporting. This role offers exposure to global pharmacovigilance operations within a highly collaborative and inclusive environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, review, and process adverse event (AE) and safety reports in compliance with global regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure accurate, complete, and timely safety data entry and reporting.

  • Support signal detection, risk assessment, and ongoing safety surveillance activities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address safety queries, follow-ups, and investigations.

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of safety reports, including periodic reports and regulatory documentation.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacovigilance regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).

  • Experience Required: 1–3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or a related clinical or pharmaceutical environment.

  • Working knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations (e.g., ICH-GCP, ICH E2 guidelines).

  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated commitment to quality, compliance, and patient safety.
