Position Overview:
As a Pharmacovigilance Analyst, you will be instrumental in supporting local PV operations and delivering technical and project management assistance. This role requires close collaboration with Cencora’s global Pharmacovigilance systems as well as coordination with local and international departments. The position is based in Bogota, Colombia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and manage local pharmacovigilance systems.

  • Conduct Local Literature Searches to identify relevant safety data.

  • Manage Local ICSR (Individual Case Safety Report) activities.

  • Perform PV Intelligence Screening for safety signals and updates.

  • Maintain the local PSMF (Pharmacovigilance System Master File).

  • Support the setup of local Organized Data Collection methods.

  • Handle Local Pharmacovigilance Agreement (PVA) Management.

  • Adapt and submit PSUR (Periodic Safety Update Reports) and RMP (Risk Management Plans) in alignment with local regulations.

  • Participate in Local Signal Detection and safety evaluations.

  • Implement additional Risk Minimization Measures.

  • Review materials associated with post-authorization safety requirements.

  • Participate in audits and inspections related to pharmacovigilance compliance.

Requirements:

  • Professional qualification or University degree in Life Sciences.

  • Basic understanding of pharmacovigilance principles and practices.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage tasks independently.

  • Strong skills in internal and external stakeholder communication, including with clients on operational and team lead levels.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to identify issues and provide actionable solutions within the area of responsibility.

  • Fluency in English (business level) and proficiency in the local language (Spanish).
