Position Overview:

ICON is seeking a Pharmacovigilance Associate (Senior Level) to join our dynamic global team. The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safety, efficacy, and compliance of pharmaceutical products by managing and overseeing pharmacovigilance activities in line with regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities:

Pharmacovigilance Operations

  • Lead the collection, evaluation, and processing of Adverse Event (AE) reports to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

  • Conduct data analysis and identify trends or potential safety signals requiring further investigation.

  • Prepare and submit Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSURs) and other regulatory documents.

  • Collaborate with medical and clinical teams to assess the clinical significance of reported AEs.

  • Oversee pharmacovigilance databases, ensuring data integrity and compliance with documentation standards.

Leadership and Support

  • Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to junior PV team members.

  • Participate in audits and inspections by regulatory authorities, ensuring compliance readiness.

  • Stay updated with regulatory guidelines and evolving PV practices to enhance organizational standards.

Collaboration and Compliance

  • Work cross-functionally to support risk management and safety evaluation initiatives.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and handle patient safety data with professional discretion.


Your Profile (Qualifications & Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, or a related discipline (Advanced degree preferred).

  • Extensive pharmacovigilance or drug safety experience, with in-depth regulatory knowledge.

  • Strong understanding of adverse event reporting, signal detection, and safety surveillance.

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Proficiency in pharmacovigilance databases, data management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities in a cross-functional environment.

  • Capable of independent work and managing multiple priorities efficiently.

  • High commitment to data confidentiality and ethical standards.
